The McIntyre Hall Performing Arts and Conference Center frames the entry of Skagit Valley College’s campus. The multi-purpose center provides a 700-seat theater and a 400-seat conference facility to be used for speakers, lectures, banquets, and as rehearsal space for the theater. The building’s grand lobby is multi-functional serves as a pre-performance and intermission gathering place for theater audience members, and as needed provides overflow space for banquets. The Center not only furthers the College’s educational mission, but is also an important civic place for surrounding communities.

Jim Brown, under the design direction of Mark Reddington, was the Design Principal and Project Architect for the project, and was responsible for design, documentation, and all consultant coordination.
