Sisko Art Gallery
This modest gallery was designed to capitalize on an tight “artist” budget through simple design solutions. Cost-effective materials were used to transform this industrial remnant into an exquisite space to view paintings and sculpture. The entry curtain is made of burnished industrial freezer curtain to allow filtered natural light through and provide privacy from the retail frontage of the space. Large pivoting walls provide backdrops and display areas to maximize flexibility of the gallery’s interior space. A large stepped display area acts as an additional sculpture display area and a vertical circulation to the private studio above.
