Hershkowitz Pavilion

The Hershkowitz family engaged URBANADD to improve the functionality and overall experience of their backyard environment. The new pavilion structure required protection from the rain and wind while maximizing privacy and light.  URBANADD’s highly detailed approach utilized a stainless steel and wood structure, wood screening, and fritted glass panels. To meet the jurisdiction’s storm water control requirements, a sculptural scupper directs rainwater into a decorative rock infiltration drywell. In addition, a formal lawn, perimeter path and vegetation, expanded patio, and new firepit enhance this backyard oasis.
